About Fredric Ohringer


Frederic Ohringer is an American photographer born in 1940, who is renowned for his compelling portraits, particularly of theater and ballet figures. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in 1961, followed by a Master of International Affairs and a Juris Doctor from Columbia University. Ohringer has had multiple solo exhibitions, and in 1979 he published “ A Portrait of the Theatre”, a collection of portraits featuring theatre actors, actresses, and other entertainers.
